                               RESOLUTION NO. 19681
                   
                   
                   A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ADMINISTRATOR 
                   OF THE DEPARTMENT OF GENERAL SERVICES TO 
                   AUTHORIZE CHATTANOOGA NEIGHBORHOOD 
                   ENTERPRISE TO TAKE SUCH ACTIONS AS ARE 
                   NECESSARY TO COLLECT DEBTS OWED TO THE CITY 
                   OF CHATTANOOGA WHICH ARE ADMINISTERED BY 
                   CHATTANOOGA NEIGHBORHOOD ENTERPRISE.
                   
                   
                                                     
                   
                   
       	    	 WHEREAS, certain loans of funds granted to the City of 
       Chattanooga by the United States Department of Housing and Urban 
       Development are loaned out by the City of Chattanooga through its 
       Program Administrator, Chattanooga Neighborhood Enterprise;
       	    	 WHEREAS, from time to time it may be necessary to 
       institute actions to ensure the repayment of said loans to the 
       City through it's Program Administrator, Chattanooga Neighborhood 
       Enterprise;
                                NOW, THEREFORE,
       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF 
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That the Administrator of the Department 
       of General Services be and is hereby authorized to authorize and 
       direct Chattanooga Neighborhood Enterprise to institute such 
       actions as are necessary to ensure the repayment of loans which 
       are owed to the City of Chattanooga and which are administered 
       pursuant to certain agreements by Chattanooga Neighborhood 
       Enterprise, including, but not limited to, any actions necessary 
       to foreclose upon real or personal property which is collateral 
       for any of said loans.
